In a sports news article it has been stated, “Ball tempering which was already associated with the Pakistan cricket team became the hall mark of the team. On the other hand the same person is making statements for his future endeavor as the Captain of the national team in the World Cup 2011.”
It’s not that difficult to understand why bowlers temper the ball in international cricket matches. But sometimes these incidents are quite interesting when such activities are happening in front of so many people and media personals.
This time Pakistan’s former cricket, Shahid Khan Afridi gained negative popularity by tempering the ball in a T20 match against Aussies and unfortunately he was caught red-handed by the media and so many spectators.
Critiques are still confused of this futile exercise. Moreover the sportsman tried to safeguard himself against the pinching questions of media that he was just trying to help the bowler by wiping out the ball.
Sports news articles are depicting a very serious notion now. “No doubt the sinking ship of Pakistan cricket team has no rescuer now”.
